3/7,3/14,3/21,3/28- Birds and Bees Connection- Rights of Passage Grades 6,7- A four week interactive course that prepares tweens for adolescence by generating an open dialogue in a fun and engaging environment. This course gives parents and children the foundation and necessary tools to communicate their personal values and beliefs. It also creates a close bond between parent and tween that will last for the future. In addition there are interviews with respected experts and authors in the fields of psychology, education, and the inter-relationships of women and girls. Definition to Bullying Behavior

A wide range of behaviors that have an impact on a person’s property, body, feelings, relationships, reputation, and social status. Bullying is a form of covert or overt behavior that is intentional, hurtful, and persistent (repeated). There is often an imbalance of power that can be physical or psychological. Bullying behaviors can look like: being teased, harassed, socially rejected, threatened, belittled, assaulted or attacked verbally, physically, or psychologically.
