It’s that time of year when you need to make room for all your holiday guests and gifts. So let the SMES library help you out a bit by taking some of those old books off your hands. Stop by anytime and look for the large green box. Your donations will find a new home through Better World Books, a for-profit social enterprise that collects used books and sells them online to raise money for literacy initiatives worldwide. Books not eligible for Better World Books will go to LifeHouse homeless library, where they will be enjoyed by homeless men, woman and children.
