It’s hard to believe that the time has come around again to celebrate our fourth graders. On Friday, October 8, 2010 at 6:00 p.m., fourth graders will gather for an evening of fun in celebration of an important learning milestone. The ”Library Lock-In” is a ten-year-old tradition here at the lower school library that honors the many levels of growth our fourth graders have achieved. BOB has begun!
Today, a library full of 4th and 5th grade students met at lunch to hear all about the Battle of the Books (BOB) club. BOB, a popular SMES reading club, is in its 4th year at SMES. During club meetings students play games and discuss BOB books. Already some BOB-ers have decided that Igraine the Brave and Trapped! are their favorites.
